The New Breed was a crime drama series that aired in the early 1960s. It followed Lieutenant Price Adams, played by Leslie Nielsen, as he worked on "The Hot Shot Detail" of the LAPD's Metro Squad. The series depicted the daily activities and investigations of police officers in Los Angeles during that time.
The cast included Leslie Nielsen as Lieutenant Price Adams, John Beradino as Sergeant Vince Cavelli, Greg Roman as Patrolman Peter Garcia, John Clarke as Patrolman Joe Huddleston, and Byron Morrow as Captain Keith Gregory.
