The Legends ended on April 3, 2019, on Hunan TV. The show concluded after its 56 episodes, which aired from January 28 to April 3, 2019.

The series was a fantasy action drama that followed Lu Zhao Yao, who died while attempting to acquire her predecessor's Wanjun Sword. She believed Li Chen Lan was involved in her death after he was revealed to be the son of a previous cult leader. Five years later, Li Chen Lan had become the cult leader, prompting Zhao Yao, now a spirit, to possess the body of Qin Zhi Yan, a disciple of the Immortal Sect. Her goal was to seek revenge by killing Li Chen Lan, but she gradually developed feelings for him instead.

The cast included Bai Lu as Lu Zhao Yao, Xu Kai as Li Chen Lan, Xiao Yan as Qin Zhi Yan, and Dai Xu as Jiang Wu. The show had a runtime of approximately 50 minutes per episode.
