This animated series was a continuation of the story from the 1999 feature film, focusing on Tarzan adjusting to his new role as leader of the apes after Kerchak's death, and Jane adapting to life in the jungle after their marriage. The show was produced in 2001 and 2003 and was aimed at a younger audience, combining adventure and family themes.
The series featured Michael T. Weiss as Tarzan, Olivia d'Abo as Jane Porter, April Winchell as Terk, Jim Cummings as Tantor, Susan Blakeslee as Kala, and Jeff Bennett as Professor Archimedes Q. Porter. It had a rating of 6.7 on TVMaze and each episode ran for 30 minutes.
