Is The Legacy Awards coming back?

The Legacy Awards is currently airing on CBC Gem; the next episode airs in 2026. There are no scheduled episodes at this time, as the show is between seasons. The series last aired in September 2023, and no return date has been announced.

The show is a celebration of Black Canadian talent, hosted by Keshia Chanté. It features performances, award presentations, and tributes to both established and emerging Black Canadian artists. First premiering in 2022, The Legacy Awards aims to honor cultural achievements within the Black Canadian community.

Keshia Chanté stars as the host of the series. Each episode has a runtime of approximately 90 minutes.
