This action, adventure, and western series was set during the American Civil War era. It told the story of a man who woke up buried alive, with no memory of who he was. As he escaped from his makeshift grave, he tried to piece together his identity through confusing clues—he was in Southern territory, dressed in Southern clothing, but carrying Northern gold and a Northern gun. His only memories involved a beautiful woman, being beaten, and witnessing the assassination of President Abraham Lincoln. The series followed his journey as he adopted the name Lazarus, inspired by the biblical figure raised from the dead.

The show starred Robert Urich as James 'Lazarus' Cathcart. It was a 60-minute series, and since it ended in 1996, there are no upcoming episodes or seasons planned.
