The Law of Ueki ended on March 27, 2006, after its first season aired from April 4, 2005. The series concluded its run on TV Tokyo, with no indication of a continuation or revival.
The show was an action-packed anime series that aired in 2005. It was based on the story of Kousuke Ueki, a junior high school student who was chosen by a Celestial King Candidate to participate in a battle to become the Celestial King. The competition involved students using their unique powers to fight each other, with the goal of winning the prestigious title and the reward of the Blank Talent. Ueki’s ability to turn garbage into trees was central to his strategy in this earth-friendly battle, which combined supernatural elements with themes of environmentalism.
The cast included Romi Park as Kousuke Ueki, Chiwa Saito as Tenko (small), Kappei Yamaguchi as Hideyoshi, Katsuji Mori as Koba-sen, Mamiko Noto as Rinko Jerad, Mitsuki Saiga as Robert Haydn, Souichirou Hoshi as Seiichirou Sano, and Takashi Nagasako as Tenko (big).
