About The Large Family
The Large Family ended on March 5, 2010, on CBeebies. The show concluded after its second season, which aired from December 23, 2009, to March 5, 2010.
The series was a children's program based on Jill Murphy's best-selling picture books about a warm-hearted family of elephants. It was a comedy series that aired from 2007 to 2010, depicting the everyday life of Mum, Dad, and their four children: Lester, Laura, Luke, and baby Lucy. Each episode showcased their daily routines, such as going to school, playing with friends, shopping, working, and dreaming of summer holidays. Despite being elephants, they experienced typical family issues and adventures, often facing problems that seemed large but turned out to be small.
The cast included Jeff Rawle as Mr. Larry Large, Paula Wilcox as Mrs. Linda Large, Tyger Drew-Honey as Lester Large, Rosie Day as Laura Large, and Thomas Mole as Luke Large.
