Is The Hollywood Squares coming back?

The Hollywood Squares ended on June 16, 1980. The show was a game show that featured nine celebrities seated in a tic-tac-toe style grid. Contestants would ask questions to the stars, who could respond with correct answers or bluffing responses. The contestants then decided whether to agree or disagree with the star's answer, with correct judgments earning a symbol in the grid. The game continued until a player achieved three in a row or filled the board, in which case the player with five squares won. Additional prizes could be won through Secret Squares, which awarded prizes regardless of the game's outcome. Over its run, the show had several versions, including a prime-time edition in 1968 and a syndicated series starting in 1971, which expanded to two episodes per week. The syndicated episodes were recorded in a single session, with a distinctive comical buzzer sound marking the end of each episode. Hosted by Peter Marshall, the show was notable for most of the Center Square seats being occupied by Paul Lynde.
