The show is a reality series that began in 2020. It features two strangers who have never owned a home before, given a lump sum to buy a property at auction. Over six months, they renovate their purchase into a livable and attractive home with the goal of selling it for a profit, which they keep. If they do not sell, the house returns to auction.
The series has had five seasons so far, with the latest season starting in July 2024. The show is hosted by presenters Simon O'Brien, Tayo Oguntonade, and Carys Davies. Each episode lasts around 60 minutes.
