The series was a Japanese drama and comedy that aired in 2004. It followed Kumiko "Yankumi" Yamaguchi, a young teacher who was assigned to teach class 2-4 at Shirokin Gakuen Private School. The show depicted her efforts to manage a class full of delinquent students while secretly being the heir to a powerful Yakuza clan. Throughout the series, Yankumi worked to earn the respect of her students and succeed as an educator, all while hiding her true background.
The cast included Carrie Keranen and Risa Hayamizu as Kumiko Yamaguchi, with Seizô Katô as Fuji, David Brimmer as Detective, Madeleine Blaustein as Tetsu Asakura, and Sebastian Arcelus as Youichi Minami.
