The series was a Chinese action and mystery drama based on the novel by Wen Rui An. It followed four highly skilled assassins and detectives who were hired by the Chinese Emperor to apprehend and execute criminals across the country. The story was set in ancient China and focused on their investigations and battles against evil forces.

The cast included Dominic Lam as Chu Kot Ching Ngo, Sammul Chan as Chui Leuk Seung / Jui Ming, Raymond Lam as Sing Ngai Yue / Mou Ching, Selena Li as Lam Yeut Fei, Kenneth Ma as Tit Yau Ha / Tit Sau, and Ron Ng as Lang Ling Hay / Lang Huet. The show did not have a rated score on TVMaze and had a runtime of 60 minutes per episode.
