Is The Early Show coming back?
The Early Show (1999–2012) on CBS
About The Early Show
The Early Show ended on January 6, 2012. The program was a morning news-talk show that aired on CBS from November 1, 1999, to early 2012. It was part of CBS's long history of morning broadcasts, which began in 1954, and was the network’s ninth attempt at a morning news program. The show aired Monday through Friday from 7:00 to 9:00 a.m., broadcasting live in the Eastern Time Zone and on tape delay elsewhere. Originally based in the General Motors Building in New York City, The Early Show often ranked third in ratings behind NBC's Today and ABC's Good Morning America. Its cancellation was announced in November 2011, and it was replaced by CBS This Morning in January 2012, marking the end of its twelve-year run.
