The show was an action-packed anime series that aired from October 10, 1998, to May 8, 1999. It was based on a dark story about Fudo Jun, a supermodel with a hidden, dangerous heritage. Jun discovered that she carried the genes of the next step in human evolution, which made her a target of both her own kind and government agents. The series explored her struggle to maintain her humanity while fighting against the beastlike superhumans that threatened the city.
The series featured voice actors Junko Iwao as Jun Fudou, Kaoru Shimamura as Lan Asuka, and Kazusa Murai as Kazumi Takiura.
