The Dark Room was a drama, crime, and mystery series that aired in 1999. It followed the story of Jinx Kingsley, a photographer who awoke from a coma after a car crash that was a failed suicide attempt. Her fiancé, Leo, had just jilting her to elope with her best friend Meg. The plot thickened when Leo and Meg were found murdered in a manner similar to Jinx's first husband, making her the prime suspect. With the aid of neuroscientist Dr. Alan Protheroe, Jinx began to uncover buried memories of desperation and terror.
The series featured Dervla Kirwan as Jinx Kingsley, James Wilby as Dr. Alan Protheroe, Paul Freeman as Adam Kingsley, Nicholas Gecks as DI Arthur Maddox, and Connie Hyde as DS Susie Blake. The show did not have a rated score on TVMaze and had a runtime of 75 minutes per episode.
