The Confession ended on November 25, 2022, after its first season. The show aired on Prime Video and is no longer in production.

The series was a crime drama that followed the story of Patricia Hall's disappearance from the small Yorkshire town of Pudsey. It depicted the events surrounding her husband Keith, who became a suspect and was caught in a web of rumors and suspicion. Over the course of the series, a series of twists and revelations uncovered the terrible truth about her disappearance, especially after Keith fell in love with a stranger a year later.

The show had a runtime of approximately 53 minutes per episode and consisted of two episodes in its single season.
