The Buford Files was a animated mystery series that aired in 1978. It followed Buford, a bloodhound with a sharp nose and unique abilities, as he teamed up with the teenage Boggs twins, Cindy Mae and Woody, to solve puzzling mysteries in Fenokee Swamp. The show centered around their adventures as they outsmarted local authorities and dealt with Buford's peculiar traits, such as his radar-like ears and his howling at the moon.
The cast included Frank Welker as Buford, Patricia Parris as Cindy Mae, Dave Landsburg as Woody, Henry Corden as Sheriff Muletrain, and Roger Peltz as Goofer McGee.
