Over six weeks, contestants were challenged to grow and harvest prize-winning fruits, vegetables, and flowers for show day. Additionally, their preserving skills were tested as they made jams, chutneys, cordials, pickles, and jellies.
The show was a reality competition series that premiered in 2014. It was hosted by Fern Britton, with judges Jim Buttress, Jonathan Moseley, and Thane Prince assessing the contestants' gardening and preserving abilities.
