The series explored a unique concept where Norwegian celebrities experienced their own funerals before they passed away, lying in an open coffin while hearing eulogies from family, friends, and colleagues. The show aimed to provide a humorous yet reflective look at life, death, and how public figures are remembered.

The show had a total of four episodes in its first season, each approximately 44 minutes long. Since the series ended in November 2025, it is currently not confirmed whether there will be a second season or further episodes.
