Swamp Monsters ended on October 3, 2014, on Destination America. The show aired its entire first season over a span of a few weeks in September and October of 2014.

Swamp Monsters was a documentary-style series that explored Cajun folklore and the mysterious creatures said to inhabit Louisiana's bayou. The series followed a team of investigators known as the Bayou Enforcement Agency for Supernatural Threats (BEAST) as they examined reports of strange encounters and legendary monsters in the swampy regions of Louisiana.

Each episode had a runtime of approximately 60 minutes.
