Is Superfans coming back?

Superfans closely follows the lives of some Flemish fans. That life is largely dominated by their idols. Whether it concerns Sven Nys, Ray Charles, K3 or Eddy Merckx, every national or international star can always count on a group of fierce, fanatical admirers who want to support their hero(s) up close. They immortalize their idols in the form of a tattoo, they sacrifice bedrooms to newspaper clippings and they travel many kilometers in the hope of catching a glimpse of their favorite star. But fanatical fandom also means more than that. It is a way to escape from everyday life, to release emotions and to belong somewhere, because as a fan you are never alone.
