Suomi on queer was a documentary series that explored the history and present of Finland's sexual and gender minorities. Premiering in 2023, the show provided an unembellished yet warm perspective on significant moments in the lives of Finnish LGBTQ+ individuals, highlighting stories that had rarely been told without voyeurism or exoticization. It connected past experiences with contemporary queer icons, offering viewers a nuanced view of the community’s journey through history.
