Sunny Ryoko was a Japanese anime series that first premiered in 1987. It was a drama, comedy, romance, and slice-of-life series centered around Kishimoto Kasumi, a 15-year-old girl who was supposed to start high school while living at her aunt's house. Instead, she found herself sharing her home with four new male students, leading to a series of humorous and awkward situations. The series depicted her troublesome high school days, including an incident where one of the boys, Takasugi Yusaku, entered the bath while she was bathing.

Each episode had a runtime of approximately 30 minutes.
