Sul was a crime drama series set in Lisbon, Portugal, that aired in 2019. It followed a nihilistic judicial police inspector as he investigated the mysterious death of a woman on the Rocha Conde de Óbidos pier. Against the backdrop of Portugal's economic and social crisis, the series explored themes of corruption, political upheaval, and societal decay, taking viewers on a hallucinatory journey through the city’s evangelist churches, influential law firms, and financial institutions.
