Spy City ended on December 3, 2020, on MagentaTV. The series concluded after its first season, which aired from November 5 to December 3, 2020.

Spy City was a drama, thriller, and espionage series set in 1961 Berlin, a city on the brink of the construction of the Berlin Wall. It followed an English spy, Fielding Scott, who was sent to Berlin to uncover a traitor within the UK Embassy or among the Allies. At a time when tensions between the Western powers and the Soviet Union were high, the city was described as "the most dangerous place on earth" by Nikita Khrushchev, and was filled with spies and double agents. The show depicted the tense atmosphere and the constant threat of nuclear conflict as American, British, and French troops in West Berlin remained separated from their Soviet and East German counterparts by only an imaginary line.

The series starred Dominic Cooper as Fielding Scott, Johanna Wokalek as Ulrike Faber, Leonie Benesch as Eliza Hahn, and Romane Portail as Severine Bloch. It received a rating of 7.4 on TVMaze and had a runtime of 56 minutes per episode.
