This comedy series was based on Ryan O'Connell's memoir and was a humorous and heartfelt exploration of identity and self-acceptance. It followed the story of a gay man with mild cerebral palsy who decided to reinvent himself as an accident victim to pursue the life he desired.
The show was a two-season series that premiered in 2019 and concluded in 2021. It starred Ryan O'Connell as Ryan Kayes, with Jessica Hecht playing Karen Kayes, Punam Patel as Kim Laghari, and other supporting actors including Marla Mindelle, Patrick Fabian, Max Jenkins, Augustus Prew, and Jason Michael Snow. The series received a rating of 6.9 on TVMaze and each episode had a runtime of approximately 22 minutes.
