Sidekick was a Canadian animated comedy series that first premiered in Canada on September 3, 2010, and later aired in the United States. It was set in the city of Splittsboro and centered around an orphan boy named Eric, who, along with his friends Trevor, Vana, and Kitty, trained to become sidekicks at the Academy for Aspiring Sidekicks. The show combined elements of action, adventure, and comedy, following their humorous and adventurous journey as they learned to become heroes.
The series featured a cast including Miklos Perlus as Eric Needles, Christian Potenza as Trevor Troublemeyer, Stephanie Anne Mills as Vana Glama, and Denise Oliver as Kitty Ko. It received a rating of 6.3 on TVMaze and each episode had a runtime of approximately 30 minutes. The show was known for its lively characters and humorous take on the superhero training genre.
