Is Short Poppies coming back?

Short Poppies ended on April 1, 2014. The series concluded its single season with its final episode airing on that date. There are no upcoming episodes scheduled, and the show is no longer in production.

Created and written by Rhys Darby, Short Poppies was a comedy series that aired in 2014. It featured a series of day-in-the-life interviews with a group of unique New Zealand characters. Each episode followed journalist David Farrier as he met seven 'ordinary' Kiwi folk living in small towns across New Zealand, each given a Rhys Darby twist.

It was available on TVNZ+ and was notable for its humorous portrayal of small-town life and quirky characters.
