Scruples was a drama and romance series that was first broadcast in 1980. It told the story of three ambitious young people navigating their personal and professional lives in Beverly Hills. The series centered around Billy Ikehorn, a secretary who became a boutique owner after her wealthy employer's death, and her interactions with Vito Orsini, a film director, as well as Valentine O'Neill, a French fashion designer, and Spider Elliott, a parking lot attendant and photographer.

The cast included Lindsay Wagner as Billy Ikehorn, Barry Bostwick as Spider Elliott, and Marie-France Pisier as Valentine O'Neill.
