Screenplay was a comedy series that featured three television plays created by Victoria Wood. The plays included the highly acclaimed Talent, which helped bring Victoria Wood to wider attention and marked the start of her successful television career. The series also reunited Wood with Julie Walters, forming the basis of their long-standing partnership, and featured performances by Duncan Preston, Tracey Ullman, George Costigan, and Jim Bowe.
