Samurai Champloo was an anime series set in the Edo era of Japan during the 17th to 19th centuries. It followed the adventures of two Samurai warriors, Mugen and Jin, who met by chance and teamed up with a young girl named Fuu. Together, they embarked on a journey across various Japanese locations to find the samurai who smells of sunflowers, encountering numerous situations involving sex, violence, and drugs along the way.
The series featured a cast including Kazuya Nakai as Mugen, Ayako Kawasumi as Fuu, and Ginpei Sato as Jin. It was a 25-minute show rated 7.5 on TVMaze. The show is categorized as a blend of comedy, action, adventure, and anime genres, and was produced by Fuji TV.
