About Salute Your Shorts
Salute Your Shorts ended on June 29, 1992, on Nickelodeon. The show was a comedy series that aired in the early 1990s and consisted of two seasons with a total of 26 episodes. It concluded its run over 30 years ago, and there has been no indication of a revival or continuation.
The series was set at a summer camp where a group of kids spent their days engaging in humorous antics. The show focused on their interactions with each other and the camp counselor, Kevin "Ug" Lee, played by Kirk Baily. The camp was run by a mysterious, unseen figure named Dr. Kahn, and the children often tried to bother their counselor while navigating the typical challenges of childhood and adolescence.
The cast included Blake Soper as Ronny Pinsky, Danny Cooksey as Bobby Budnick, Heidi Lucas as Dina Alexander, Megan Berwick as Z.Z. Ziff, Michael Bower as Eddie "Donkeylips" Gelfen, and Erin MacArthur as Michael Stein.
