Saigo no Bangohan was a comedy, food, and supernatural series that premiered in January 2018. It followed Igarashi Kairi, a young actor who, after a scandal, returned to his hometown of Ashiya in Hyogo Prefecture. There, he found himself working at Banmeshiya, a set meal restaurant owned by Ryuji Natsugami. The series depicted his experiences as he left acting behind and helped out at the restaurant, where the customers were ghosts. The story revolved around Igarashi's quest to find the last dinner that would allow the visiting spirits to find peace.

Each episode had a runtime of approximately 30 minutes.
