Is Runes coming back?

Runes ended on February 6, 2023, after its 1st season. The series concluded its run on the Canal+ web channel.

Runes was an adventure, fantasy, and children’s series that first premiered on October 17, 2022. It was set in a world where William, the disputed heir to Normandy, hid from those seeking to kill him after his father's death. Disguised as a peasant named Hugo, he found refuge in the village of Baligan. Throughout the series, Hugo discovered his connection to ancient runes and his destiny to renew a spell that kept the chaos god Loki imprisoned, forming the core of his journey.

Each episode had a runtime of approximately 22 minutes, and the story focused on Hugo’s adventures, his new friends, and the challenges he faced in fulfilling his destiny as the Chosen One.
