It explored the hidden worlds among the branches of five iconic African trees, showcasing their unique ecological roles and the animal activity they support. The series highlighted remarkable behaviors, such as a baobab storing water in its hollow trunk and a sausage tree attracting pollinators with its bright flowers and large fruit.

The show featured Fiona Ramsay as the narrator. It was a 53-minute program that aimed to reveal the extraordinary life happening high among the trees, some of which had never been captured on film before. The series spanned two seasons, with the first airing in 2018 and the second in 2022.
