Residue was a science-fiction horror thriller set in a future UK metropolis. It followed photojournalist Jennifer Preston as she investigated the aftermath of a catastrophic explosion called 'the Catastrophe' that devastated the city on New Year's Eve. A militarized quarantine zone was established around the blast site, and as acts of violence increased, Jennifer noticed strange phantoms in her photographs, prompting her to uncover the truth behind the disaster while avoiding powerful conspirators.
The series featured actors such as Natalia Tena as Jennifer Preston, Danny Webb as Emeril Benedict, and Iwan Rheon as Jonas. It had a rating of 6.4 on TVMaze and each episode had a runtime of 55 minutes.
