Is Resident Evil coming back?

Resident Evil ended on July 14, 2022, after its first season on Netflix.

The series was a drama and horror show that expanded on the popular survival horror video game franchise. It told a story across two timelines: one followed fourteen-year-old sisters Jade and Billie Wesker as they moved to the manufactured town of New Raccoon City, uncovering dark secrets about their father and the town’s true nature. The other timeline, set over a decade later, depicted Jade, now thirty, struggling to survive in a world devastated by the T-virus, with fewer than fifteen million people remaining and over six billion infected monsters.

The cast included Ella Balinska as Jade Wesker, Siena Nicole Agudong and Tamara Smart as the young versions of Billie and Jade, respectively, and Lance Reddick as Albert Wesker. The show had a runtime of approximately 53 minutes per episode and received a rating of 5.8 on TVMaze.
