Regret was a drama, romance, and war series that premiered on June 6, 2016. The show followed Orwa, a 40-year-old television writer, whose story began on the night Baghdad fell. It depicted historical events and political changes from 2003 onward, providing a narrative set against the backdrop of significant Iraqi history.

Each episode was approximately 45 minutes long, and the show consisted of 30 episodes in its only season.
