R ended on June 29, 2020, after its first season. The show aired its final episode on that date and is no longer in production.

R was a drama, comedy, and action series that premiered on April 27, 2020, on Claro Video. It followed the story of Franco, a man who was living a miserable life due to his strained relationships with his family. After discovering he had terminal cancer, he decided to live without restrictions, which led him to kill a drug trafficker in self-defense. Later, he found out that his cancer diagnosis was false, forcing him to escape from justice and the drug trafficker's associates.

The series starred Mauricio Ochmann as Francisco "Franco" Barrón and Paulina Dávila as Magali. The show had a runtime of 60 minutes per episode.
