Probe (1988–1988) on ABC
About Probe
Probe ended on April 14, 1988, on ABC. The series aired its final episode that day after its run from March 7, 1988.
Probe was a short-lived mystery series created by Isaac Asimov and William Link. It followed Austin James, a genius with poor social skills who owned a scientific think tank called Serendip. Instead of focusing solely on scientific research, he preferred to spend his time inventing and solving science-based crimes, often with the assistance of his secretary and keeper, Michelle "Micky" Castle.
The show starred Parker Stevenson as Austin James and Ashley Crow as Michelle "Micky" Castle. Each episode had a runtime of approximately 69 minutes. The series was part of the 1988 television lineup and remains a brief chapter in the genre of science and crime-solving dramas.
