Princess Tutu was a fantasy anime series that first premiered in August 2002. It was a story about Ahiru, a young girl living in a small town who was enrolled in a ballet academy. She was an awkward girl with a crush on Mythos, one of the most talented boys at the school. The series combined elements of romance, comedy, and fantasy, weaving a narrative that involved magical transformations and fairy tale themes.
The cast included Chris Patton as Fakir, Christine Auten as Edel, Jay Hickman as Mytho, Jessica Boone as Rue, Luci Christian as Duck, Marty Fleck as Drosselmeyer, Nanae Katou as Ahiru, and Noboru Mitani as Doro.
