Is Overdo coming back?

Overdo is currently in development and has not yet premiered. The show is being produced for Tencent QQ and is not scheduled to air on traditional networks.

Overdo was a drama and romance series set in Republican Shanghai. It told the story of Murong Qingyi, a warlord's son who was swapped at birth and endured years of hardship. His life changed when Ren Susu rescued him, but her family faced tragedy because of her actions. Years later, they developed a romantic connection, but Ren Susu faked her death to protect another, leaving Qingyi heartbroken. The narrative continued with her return as his future sister-in-law, bringing love, betrayal, and old wounds to the surface as they faced the threat of war.

The series was planned to feature Zhang Ling He as Murong Qing Yi and Wang Chu Ran as Ren Susu / Fang Mulan.
