The show was a children’s comedy series that aired from 1996 to 1998. It followed the adventures of 12-year-old boy genius Joseph Lucas, who discovered an experiment in an old diary and created a substance that could make people and objects invisible. With the help of his friend Ali Patanjali, Joe used his invention to explore various situations, keeping his secret to himself except from Ali.
The series featured Shane Fox as Joe Lucas, Moira Brooker as Mrs. Lucas, Sacha Dhawan as Ali Patanjali, Simon Pearsall as Jim Lucas, and Thomas Aldwinckle as Shane Lucas. The episodes had a runtime of 30 minutes. The show was set in the context of a humorous and imaginative world where science and childhood curiosity combined, and it was based on the premise of a young inventor’s adventures with his invisibility experiment.
