The series was a Chinese drama and romance that first premiered on January 8, 2024. Eight years prior, she ended their relationship to fulfill her mother's wish for her to become a United Nations interpreter. To secure a contract with Xia Yicheng's company, Lin Xi had to continue working with him. She helped his company go public, and despite initial appearances that Xia Yicheng was seeking revenge, he actually cared for her. Their professional interactions rekindled their romantic relationship, and Xia Yicheng gradually understood the reasons behind their breakup. The show explored themes of love, career, and reconciliation through their evolving relationship during its run in early 2024.
