Shusuke, a poor part-timer, worked with student-author Hiyoko despite their initial dislike for each other. Meanwhile, the antisocial Hayato made a living as a handyman until he was visited by a girl named Naru.
The show featured actors Ai Matayoshi as Kobato Haneda, Mayumi Yoshida as Asuka Watarai, Ryōko Ono as Hiyoko Tamaizumi, and Yuko Goto as Naru Ohtori.
