Open House ended on May 6, 1990, on FOX. The show concluded its first and only season with a total of 24 episodes. It was a comedy series that aired during the 1989-1990 television season.
Open House was about employees of a California real estate company who competed for sales. The series focused on Linda Phillips, who managed a Los Angeles real estate office, and her interactions with fellow realtors and her sassy, man-hungry receptionist, Margo. The show depicted the humorous and sometimes chaotic day-to-day activities within the real estate business.
The cast included Alison La Placa as Linda Phillips, Ellen DeGeneres as Margo Van Meter, Philip Charles MacKenzie as Ted Nichols, Danny Gans as Scott Babylon, Mary Page Keller as Laura Kelly, Nick Tate as Roger McSwain, Chris Lemmon as Richard Phillips, and Ginger Orsi as Amanda Phillips.
