Nueve reinas is a drama and crime series set in Madrid in 2012 during an economic crisis. It follows Marcos, an experienced con artist, who encounters Juan, a young man struggling to support his family. What begins as a short-term partnership to execute small scams develops into a major heist involving counterfeit stamps known as the Nueve reinas, which they try to sell as genuine to a ruthless tycoon.

The show features Álvaro Morte as Marcos and Patrick Criado as Juan.
