Ningyo Hime Marina no Boken was a fantasy anime series that first aired in 1991. It told the story of Marina, a mermaid who falls in love with Prince Justin, a human from a nearby kingdom. Marina saves Justin from danger, including a shipwreck and attacks by mythical sea creatures, and makes a deal with a sea witch to become human temporarily.
