The series explored her interactions with her big-mouthed son Leslie, who dramatically came out as gay, and her dullard ex-husband Terry, who was desperate to win her back.

The show featured actors such as Morgana Robinson as Maxine, Mathew Horne as Terry, and Jai Hollis as Leslie. It aired its first and only season in 2022, consisting of three episodes. The series had a runtime of approximately 29 minutes per episode.
