Murphy's Law was a comedy-drama series that premiered in 1988. It followed Daedalus Patrick Murphy, a private investigator working for an insurance company, who dealt with frauds and scams while trying to stay sober. The series depicted his life as he navigated his work and personal relationships, including his platonic relationship with his roommate, Kimiko Fannuchi.
The cast included George Segal as Murphy, Maggie Han as Kimiko, Josh Mostel as Wes Harden, and Charles Rocket as Victor Beaudine.
