It followed Le Hai Ning, a 32-year-old editor-in-chief of a publishing company, who faced challenges as her company struggled to produce a bestseller. When she discovered her boyfriend Fang Cheng Hao, the only successful author at her company, had committed serious misdeeds, she was enraged and decided to leave him. Subsequently, she chose to write a book herself about online dating and marriage, advertising herself as seeking upright, kind men willing to communicate and hoping to establish friendships before marriage.

The show was a single-season series with a total of 20 episodes. Each episode had a runtime of approximately 60 minutes.
